REUSkleuter

3+

Saturday 21 November ’26 – premiere run – De Kazematten (Ghent) – more information to follow

Where does something go when it’s gone?
Why do I sometimes feel sad when someone or something disappears?
Can something I miss ever come back?
Why do people sometimes cry?
Can I say goodbye to something I love?
Why do I sometimes feel happy and sad at the same time?

In “REUSkleuter”, the performers search for poetry within truth. Humour, gentleness and visual simplicity create a balance between vulnerable moments and moving discoveries. Absence and loss come to life in a giant, unfolding scenography, in which every opening reveals a new landscape. Together with two performers from Het Scheldeoffensief, children wander through folded worlds and discover what it means to miss someone or something, and how to deal with it.
