Education

With each theatre production, 4hoog offers educational material and guidance: a teaching folder, a workshop or an installation. We also develop more in-depth educational projects, such as the Bedside Table project.

The creative process gets most attention when developing educational material: attention is paid to improvisation, making something out of nothing, thinking by association, reacting to uncertain circumstances, personal expression, introspection, cooperation, etc.
Our educational folders, installations and workshops of course also draw on the wider intrinsic themes of the performance.

By reflecting with the children on what they will see and what they have seen, children develop their critical intellectual capacity, and gradually gain an insight in the medium of theatre. The educational material provides tips and directions to the teachers.
