With this second international newsletter 4Hoog likes to wish you a year of inspiration, creativity and above all a year full of magnificent theatre! In 2016 we hope to charm you with our performances for young and old. We have not been sitting on our hands. | | | | |
| | | WE like to INVITE YOU IN GHENT: 3 PERFORMANCES, 1 WEEKEND |
From Sunday 20th until Monday the 21st of March we offer a program of three international 4Hoog productions for you to visit:
1. WANIKAN, a wordless fantasy for toddlers, an international success with a new crew
2. WOESJ, the newest production of 4Hoog, a sea-opera for toddlers
3. THE KING WITHOUT SHOES, our 4Hoog classic, but with a new look
All three performances are from the age of 3, and will be shown to you in these two days. Lunch and transport in between the spectacles will be provided.
Accommodation is not included, but we will give you some good suggestions where to stay in the city of Ghent. More information about the exact planning is on the way. If interested you can already contact booking@4hoog.be .

| | BACK FROM AND GOING AGAIN: WANIKAN on TOUR | Spanish toddlers moved by Wanikan
During the festival El Més Petit De Tots Julie Kurris & Ezra Fieremans performed Wanikan in total 19 times and at 5 different locations: Tordera, Sabadell, Sant Cugat, Benicassim, Barcelona and Tarragona.
4Hoog got a warm welcome and the Spanish toddlers enjoyed this wordless, dansant performance. Also the local press was interested:>CLICK HERE<
Just back from Amsterdam
The 5th of January WANIKAN performed in Amsterdam during the presentation day of FRONTAAL. A good start of a new international year.
WANIKAN for the first time on German ground
From 23th until 29th of April WANIKAN is invited to perform at the Westwind Festival, an international theatre festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. We are curious how the German toddlers will like this wordless fantasy. Willkommen!
The Japan saga continues
From May 2016 onwards WANIKAN performs for the second time in Japan. This time with Anjana Dierckx en Simon D?Huyvetter at the Ricca Ricca*festa in Tokyo! They will be performing from the 27th of May until the 5th of June in and around Tokyo.

| | ?THE KING WITHOUT SHOES? in DIJON | In February our 4Hoog classic for toddlers, ?The King without Shoes? performs at the festival ?A pas contés? in Dijon, France.
New costumes and a new décor inspired by the works of Belgian surreal painter René Magritte. The story remains, the theatrical experience will be different, le nouveau roi est arrivé! and with a new princess, Loes Carette!

| | | WOESJ on tour! | After a successful premiere in October, WOESJ, our sea-opera for toddlers, starts its second tour from the 26th of February until the 5th of June in Belgium. The two mermaids of WOESJ, Noémie Schellens and Abigail Abraham, are ready to astonish you with their beautiful voices.
